1st March

We have had a busy week at School! The Ladies in Pigs joined the whole School on Monday to make sausage rolls and pasties, we hope you enjoyed them. It was great to see all the children getting involved and learning about where our food comes from and how farmers work to produce British high welfare food.

On Wednesday the Upper Juniors thoroughly enjoyed their Caving Trip and asked if we can go every week! They were an absolute credit to the school. Well done everyone!

Have a look at our Facebook page for photos of our week!

Bikeability – Monday/Tuesday

On 4th and 5th March, the Upper Juniors will be taking part in Bikeability.

Don’t Forget your bike and helmet!!

Parents Evening – Tuesday

Sheets are in the entrance porch for you to choose a convenient time for your parents meeting where you will get the opportunity to see your child’s work and meet with their teacher for an update on their progress. We will be starting the meetings in the afternoon from 3pm so as to try and fit everyone in. Any problems, please let Hannah in the office know.

World Book Day – Thursday

We’d like the children to bring their favourite book and come in comfy clothes for the day. This may be pyjamas, a dressing gown, comfy joggers or a onesie but no football kits.

We will be taking part in some fun activities throughout the day.

Lancaster University Trip – Friday

On Friday the Upper Juniors will be going to Lancaster University explore and learn about British Values. This will include discussions about Diversity/Stereotypes/Discrimination, learning about who rules Britain, what is fair/unfair along with other activities.

I have sent home a Trip sheet with your child today, please can this be signed returned on Monday. The cost of this trip will be £2 per child payable via Schoolmoney

Achievements outside of School

Congratulations to Daniel (Music Award) and Eric (Rugby award) whose achievements outside of School were celebrated this week.
