15th December

We have had a good final week before Christmas in school.  All the children enjoyed Danielle’s Christmas lunch, the crackers were a real hit!! On Wednesday morning everyone had fun watching the Jack and the Beanstalk Panto at The Grand Theatre.

As this is the last newsletter of the term, may we wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!   We look forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday 3rd January 2024!

Mr Stafford- Roberts is Retiring

On Tuesday we say our final farewell to Mr Stafford – Roberts after 15 years here at Hornby. At the Christmas performance we surprised him with a special song, a powerpoint of his time here at Hornby and some gifts, we even managed to make him cry! We will miss him and wish him all the best on his new adventures.

School Council Elections

Earlier this week, we voted for our new School Council and it’s all girls!

Our new School representatives are…

Infants – Nytalia and Sophie

Lower Juniors – Emmie and Florrie

Upper Juniors – Evie and Megan

Well done girls! We are looking forward to hearing your ideas for the School in the New Year.

Christmas Performance

What a wonderful performance, the children were amazing and the timing of the singing was perfect! With your kind donations, we also managed to raise £157.24 which we will split between the Church and our chosen Charity – The Lancaster & District Homeless Action Service. Thank you all for coming.
