7th July
Art Workshops
On Monday and Tuesday this week we welcomed the local artist Kerry Howarth to come and work with the children in the hall to create a collaborative display based on the countryside. The children had a great time using printing and layering techniques to create patterns and pictures, making felt, creating flowers, making butterflies and bumblebees. Have a look on our Facebook page to see our fabulous creation!
Cluster Rounders Tournament
It was a bit of a drizzly start to the day but then the sun came out for some super games of rounders where everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The Hornby team came 3rd and were a pleasure to watch with some real sportsmanship and talent shown. It was also lovely to see them support Leck in the final where Leck won.
