Raffle Tickets and prizes

Thank you for all the lovely gifts sent in so far.  It’s still not too late to send in items suitable for the hampers.  We would also be very grateful if parents could persuade local businesses to donate vouchers that we could use as raffle prizes. Please pass any such prizes to Hannah in the office, any time from now until 9^th December.

Please don’t forget to return money and completed ticket stubs to school, if you would like more tickets, let Hannah in the office know. Please return any unsold tickets so that they can be reused.

The Raffle draw will be Live in the PTA Facebook group on Tuesday 13^th December.

Christmas Performance

We are having a dress rehearsal on Monday, please could you ensure that your Childs costume is in School so we can practice ahead of the production on Tuesday 6^th December.

We are not issuing tickets this year for the performance as we hope that there will be enough room for everyone to attend the Church 😊

Robin Hood pantomime 14^th December

Don’t forget to pay £5 for the pantomime trip to Hannah in the office, we are still outstanding a few payments for this trip which has been subsidised by the School and PTA. Payments can be made by cash or cheque (made payable to Hornby Church of England Primary school).  This payment will not be set up on School money.

Christmas dinner and party buffet lunches.

These will be provided by Lucy and Danielle in the kitchen, on Tuesday 13^th we will be having a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, on Friday 16^th we will be having a party buffet with a selection of different foods.

If you would like to have a lunch on either/both of these days, please order a school dinner the day before.

Christmas post box

The Christmas post boxes are out in Infants and Juniors, you can send a Christmas card to any child in school by posting in the post box and our daily postman will deliver to your friends.

Rugby After School Club

Scott will continue with the rugby sessions, but they will move to Tuesdays after Christmas, the first session will be Tuesday 10^th January 3.30pm. if you would like your child to attend, please let Hannah know.

Stamps

We have a large quantity of the new barcoded stamps in the office – if you would like to buy any at the current cost, please pop into the office and we can sell them – just in time for the Christmas cards! 95p First Class and 68p Second Class
