Today is the last day of this half-term, tomorrow is a teacher day. We have had a busy half-term and we continue to appreciate parents support with testing if children have symptoms of any sort.
We hope everyone has a lovely half-term and that we can all come back school on 1st November virus free ready for the run up to Christmas, which is always lovely in school.
School Starters Reception Class Photo. If any more reception parents wish to place an order for the group photo taken by the Lancaster Guardian please send them back on Monday 1st November.
Young Voices – Mrs Trotman reminded the juniors this morning that they can practise at home ready for the concert, the link was included in last weeks newsletter.
Junior Mad Science Club – this after school club will start on Friday 5th November and run for 6 weeks until Friday 10th December. Please pick your children up promptly at 4:30pm from the front of school.
Individual and Family Photos – children will be bringing home the proofs of the photos taken in school on Monday. Details of how to order are included with the proof. Please can we encourage everyone to use the online method, we get 3 times as much commission from this route and it worked well last time.
Boxes of Hope – the first completed box arrived today, they are due to be collected around Monday 8th November, so if they could be in school by Friday 5th November please.
Flu Nasal Sprays – these were administered to pupils who had requested them on Tuesday this week. Anyone who missed out can contact the School Nurses on 01524 406672 to rebook.
Year 6 Secondary School Applications – the closing date for secondary school is 31st October. Applications should be made on your local authority website.
Welfare Assistant – we have a vacancy for a welfare assistant on Wednesday and Thursday from12noon – 1.00 pm (term time only). We need someone to help supervise the children during their midday break both in the hall while eating and outside on the playground. Please contact the office for more details or pass on to any friends or family members who may be interested.
