2nd October

Thank you for maintaining your distance and sending the children in promptly at their start times.  We have had a few children going for Covid19 tests.  Thankfully these have all been negative, but we ask you to remain vigilant and not send your children in if they are unwell.

No Friday bags again, just a short newsletter.

We are allowed to take the children out on Day Trips now, so have taken the opportunity to book a Tower Wood trip for the Juniors and a day at Borwick Hall for the Infants.  These trips will just be for Hornby, we will not be travelling or going on the same day as Leck this time.

The junior Tower Wood trip is on Tuesday 20th October, we will send home a detailed information sheet nearer the time.

The infant day at Borwick Hall is on Monday 16th November.  Children will take part in outdoor activities both on land and water, perfect for a day’s adventure!  We will send more details after half-term.

There is no charge for either of these trips, school covers the cost of both transport and instructors.  Children should wear their own warm clothes, outdoor shoes or boots and will need a waterproof coat.  Waterproof trousers would also be useful it they have them.  Pupils will require a packed lunch on the day.  If you have concerns or queries about these trips please do speak to Mr Stafford-Roberts.

This half term is flying by, we break up for half-term on Thursday 22nd October, the Friday is a teacher training day and we return to school on Monday 2nd November.  Term dates are also available on the school website.
