25th September
Another short newsletter this week, reception pupils will bring home Friday bags, but not other year groups.
Upper juniors had football outside this week with Morecambe FC and lowers did outdoor PE with Mrs Cottam; it’s good to see them using our outdoor space while the weather allows.
Mr King has kindly agreed to come in on Monday afternoons to explore a computer programme called Scratch with the year 5 pupils; we are sure they will benefit from their time on the computers.
Forms, Forms. Thank you to everyone who has completed all the forms. Most are now back, please send any outstanding on Monday. It is important that we always have the most up-to-date information regarding all children, particularly as we may need to contact you at short notice at the moment.
Annual Flu Vaccination (nasal spray). We have now had all the forms back, the School Vaccination Team will be visiting on Wednesday 25th November to deliver the immunisations.
School Photographs. We have decided to postpone the individual and family photographs planned for next Monday until later in the year due to the current situation.
Reception Children are bringing home a free gift pack from BookTrust today. We hope you enjoy reading the book with your child.
There is also a letter from the School Nurses in their Friday bag, please have a read and return the completed form to school.
A photographer from the Lancaster Guardian/Morecambe Visitor came into school on Wednesday to snap the new reception children, a proof/order form is included in their bag today. Any orders for the lovely photo should be returned to school in the envelope provided.
