16th July

This hasn’t quite been the end of term we all had in mind in September 2019. We would like to thank all parents and children for being so accommodating to all the challenges and changes we have faced over the last few months. It has been nice, albeit brief, to be able to welcome back all children who wanted to return to school.

Some things will remain the same in September, as we come to terms with the new normal – including staggered start times, breaks and lunches, more regular washing of hands and extra cleaning, and some things will resume – for example early morning club,  but with slightly different routines. We will be in touch with all parents towards the end of August with more information on what a return to school will look like.

Summer Activities – we have put some activities on the One Drive for you to have a look at over the summer, these include things to do and topics to explore!

Farewell – we said goodbye to our wonderful Y6 children today.  We held an ‘Outdoor Assembly’ to award the trophies, Bibles and Leavers’ books.  The year 5 pupils also made them all a lovely card to keep, with best wishes from all the children at school.
Our very best wishes go to Alfie, Nathan, Leo, Harry and Daniel starting in September at QES, Isabelle at Dallam and Summer at LGGS, as they embark on their new adventures – we will miss them all!
If you haven’t already seen it, their fantastic leavers’ video is on our Facebook

page! What a wonderful reminder of their time at school here.

REMINDER: SchoolMoney – there are a few accounts in arrears, please can you arrange for these to be cleared as soon as possible. If you need help accessing your account please email us.
Payment reminders have been sent this week for any outstanding amounts.
