The last newsletter this term!

All the staff wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thank you for your continued support.

Henry Brocklesby is moving to school near Morecambe.

We have a very FESTIVE week planned next week; read on for all things Christmas!

We return to school on Monday 6th January.

PTA Christmas Fair.  We are delighted to be able to tell you that last week’s Christmas Fair raised an amazing £820!  Huge thanks to everyone involved, whether in planning and preparation prior to the event; setting up, clearing away or helping out on the day; donating/collecting raffle prizes; buying and selling raffle tickets; donating goods; and of course last but not least, supporting the event on the day, we couldn’t have done it without all of your support, so thank you very much.  In your Friday bag today you will find a list of all the local businesses who donated raffle prizes, please show our thanks by giving them your support.

Infant Nativity – Tuesday 17th Dec.  Parents, family, grandparents and friends are welcome to attend the performance at 6pm, we will not be issuing tickets this year.  Children will need to be in school by 5:40pm to get ready.

Christmas Activity Morning & Christmas Party Afternoon.  The theme continues on Wednesday with activities in the morning and then some party games in the afternoon!

Panto Visit – Friday 20th Dec.  The whole school will be going to the Dukes in Lancaster on Friday 20th December to see Cinderella.  Cookie will be preparing party food for lunch when we return, if your child doesn’t normally have dinner on a Friday but would like to join, please pop a note in the Friday bag.  An information sheet giving more details about the trip is included in all Friday bags today.

Carol Service – Friday 20th Dec.  The junior pupils are enjoying rehearsing for the Carol Service.  Infants will be joining the juniors in Church on Friday 20th December at 2pm and everyone is encouraged to come along.  Refreshments will be served at the end of the service; it will be a lovely way to break up for Christmas.  Staff will be dismissing the children from there at the end of the service.  Children will not need to bring their school bags on Friday, everything will have been sent home earlier in the week.

Bills, Bills, Bills.  Please could we ask parents to clear any money owing for either Early Morning Club or School Meals.  We seem to have had a few password issues with the online system recently, please let us know if you need your password resetting!

PE Lessons. Pupils will be starting PE lessons as soon as we return to school in January, so all pupils should have their PE kit in school at all times.
