1st March

Adam Hayter has joined us in year 3 this week.  We are sure everyone will help him settle in and we hope he will be very happy here.

There is lots of jumble in school, so tomorrow’s sale promises to be a good one!

Can we also remind junior parents that we are a Healthy School and children should only be bringing fruit, veg, cheese, malt loaf or breadsticks for morning snack.

Parents Help Morning – Sat 16th March

Parent help would be greatly appreciated at school with some tidying and general maintenance jobs. We will start at about 9:30am and aim to be finished by 12noon.  Well behaved, helpful children are always  welcome to come along too!

Lancaster Music Festival

The infant class will be taking part in the Lancaster Music Festival this year on the evening of Monday 18th March at the Lancaster Town Hall.  This exciting event is the culmination of the terms work in music, so we would really like all the pupils to attend.  Children from a number of local schools will be performing together to create a concert which starts at 7pm and would expect to be finished by 8:30pm. They will be accompanied by a live band and parents with junior children will remember what a fantastic evening it is.  We are asking that parents or carers bring and collect children from the town hall.  We have tickets for the event costing £4, please complete the slip at the end of the newsletter to indicate if you will be attending and how many tickets you require.  If brothers or sisters are coming to watch they need tickets too, tickets will not be available on the night, there is always a shortage!  The infant class will go on a coach from school to the Town Hall in the morning to rehearse ready for the performance.
