Infant Forest School

All the infant children are off to Leck Woods for their next Forest School Adventure on Monday 25^th February (the first day back after half-term!).  They will join the infant children from Leck.  A detailed information sheet is included in their Friday bag today.  Please note that they all need a packed lunch with drink, all disposable items in a named carrier bag (No lunchboxes or water bottles).

Junior Rugby Club

There are still places available for junior pupils to join the after school Rugby Club starting on Monday 25^th February.  The slip is at the end of the newsletter again this week, just complete and return it first thing Monday morning.

Life Education Bus

The Life Education Bus will be visiting school once again on Tuesday 26^th February.  For new parents this programme works in partnership with schools to help children make healthy choices for life.  All pupils will have an age appropriate session on the bus.  Parents are invited to visit the bus at 9am if they wish to learn more about the programme.

Women’s Day of Prayer

Children in years 5 and 6 will be going over to St Margaret’s Church on Friday 1^st March to join in the Women’s Day of Prayer Service.  An information sheet is included in their Friday Bag today.

Parents Meetings

Parents meetings this term are planned for Monday 4^th March and Tuesday 5^th March.  Appointment sheets will be available as usual near each classroom from Monday morning after half-term for you to sign up.  If you don’t come to school with your child, please ring the school office and we will try to find an appointment time for you.

World Book Day

We are inviting all the children and staff to come to school in their pyjamas on Thursday 7^th March to celebrate World Book Day;  they  can also bring their favourite bed time  story  to school to share with other pupils.    Student  Council will be  collecting £1 from each child to  donate to this year’s chosen charity.  World Book Day Tokens will be included in the  Friday bags after half-term.
