Arnside Residential Visit – Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th July
The junior children are getting excited about their residential visit to Arnside starting on Monday 2nd July. A copy of your child’s current medical form is included in the bag today for you to check. Please return it on Monday whether or not there are any amendments.
Infant Visit to Leighton Moss
The infant children will be meeting up with the junior children at Leighton Moss Nature Reserve on Tuesday 3rd July. The trip will be for the whole school day, so all infants will require a packed lunch on the day, a detailed information sheet will be in the Friday bag next week. Please complete the slip at the end of the newsletter giving permission for your child to attend this trip. We are just asking for a contribution of £10 per pupil towards the cost of the bus, school will cover the entrance fee of £6.50 plus the remaining bus cost.
School Uniform
We are continuing to use The Uniform and Leisurewear Company at 15 Common Garden Street, Lancaster, LA1 1XD for the supply of all our badged uniform. The shop is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. A copy of their price list is included in all Friday bags today. We do still have 4 age 9/10 red polo shirts, one 3/4 sweatshirt and a 3/4 school coat for sale at school; if anyone is interested in these, please see Mrs Sharpe, they will be cheaper than in the shop!
Year 5 & 6 PSHE
There is a letter from Mrs Shaw in all year 5 & 6 pupils Friday bag today regarding some PSHE sessions she will be running, please do take a few minutes to read it.
Secondary School Visits
Parents of year 6 pupils are responsible for getting their children to and from their Induction Days next week. The pupils attending the QES day on Tuesday should come back to school in the afternoon. Thank you.
Year 6 Leavers Do – Tuesday 10th July
Thank you to the families that have returned the slip for the year 6 Leavers Do. Please could we have the remaining forms back next week, so we can plan the event.
PTA News
Huge thanks for all your support with the Summer Fair, both in the lead up to it and on the day itself. We raised approximately £480 which is amazing for such a small school.
We are holding a meeting this coming Monday, 25th June, at 3pm in school, to discuss the Family Bingo Night, all welcome. To help us plan for this event we would appreciate it if you could return the slip at the end of the newsletter to let us know if you are planning to attend this event.
