19th January
It has been lovely to be able to say good morning and to have a chat with so many parents this week after the reintroduction of the morning playground routine. If you are unable to speak to your child’s class teacher in the morning or evening, the quickest and easiest way to contact them is to email the school office and mark it for the attention of your child’s teacher.
Please contact the school office via email bursar@hornby.lancs.sch.uk or phone 015242 21496
Infants
In RE, we are looking at the topic of Baptism and thinking about how people of different faiths welcome babies into families. Please could you send in or email an answer to these questions to inform our discussions? (angelafarrington@hornby.lancs.sch.uk)
-Name meaning or why name was chosen
-First trip out as a baby
-First solid food

Garden Gang Update
It’s been a bit too cold and miserable to even think about gardening over the past few months but we’ve not
stopped thinking/plotting and planning for the Spring and Summer ahead…
If you have any ideas about what you would like to grow this year, please let us know and
don’t forget to check out “Hornby School Garden Gang” on Facebook for more updates.
