Christmas Performance

Due to the Juniors leading last year’s performance, this year it is the Infants turn!

Costumes…School will be providing the Infants with outfits for the performance, the Juniors will be Carol Singers so will need a jumper (Can be Christmas jumper) hat and scarf and School trousers/skirt as normal. Thankyou!

Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime

We are having a whole school trip to The Grand theatre at Lancaster to watch Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at 10am on Wednesday 13^th December. The cost of the trip will be £5, please pay via School Money.

Edinburgh Residential – Remaining balance

The remaining balance of £200 has been set up on School Money for the Edinburgh trip. This has been split into 5 instalments of £40 payable between now and the 31^st May. Hopefully these bitesize payments will help take the pressure off paying for the trip, but if you have any issues or concerns, please come and speak to us at School.

Dance ASC

Starts on Monday 8^th January 3.30-4.30pm and will run until February half term. This is open to all children from Reception to Year 6 and will be paid for by the School PE budget so will be free of charge to parents/carers 😊

If you would like your child to come, please let Hannah in the office know asap as places are limited.

Poppy Appeal

Thank you for supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, we raised an amazing £62.34

Swimming gala

On Wednesday the Upper Juniors took part in the inter school swimming gala at Heysham where they came 7^th out of 11 teams. Well done for showing brilliant team spirit and achieving a super result against some very competitive teams.

Winter PE Kit

Please could we ask that the children have dark coloured long tracksuit bottoms/leggings and a jumper that they can leave in school for their PE lessons. We try to keep PE outside in the fresh air, but it is definitely getting colder and we don’t want them to freeze!

Junior Recorder Letters        

As part of their music lesson, Mrs Evans will be teaching the junior children to play the recorder. In order for them to practice at home, we have sent home an Instrument loan agreement which needs to be signed and returned to school, we can then allocate them a recorder for the duration of the academic year 😊 The recorder needs to be brought into school on a THURSDAY for their music lesson.
