Early Morning Club

Our early morning club runs from 8:00am every school day The club aims to provide pupils with a range of creative and child-initiated activities. Charges for this provision are £4 per session and £3.50 for each further sibling.

Places can be booked in advance or turn up on an ad-hoc basis when needed.

 

After School

We are pleased to be able to offer extra-curricular activities Monday – Thursday evenings 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

Each club is charged at £4:00 per child per session.

 

 

Wraparound Care

For parents who need childcare before 8:00am and for longer than one hour after school, Hornby Day Nursery are able to offer a superb year-round Primary Education and Care Service.

The previous village school building dating back to 1873 has been fully restored to provide modern purpose-made facilities, which are safe and secure whilst retaining its traditional friendly atmosphere. Dedicated areas cater for all ages from 3 months to 11 years including an Out of School and Holiday Club.

The Pre-School offers Nursery Education Grants and delivers the Foundation Stage Curriculum from age 3 which provides a smooth transition for the children as they move into the school’s infant class.

The Out of School Club provides a pick up and collection service before and after school – the Nursery is only a 10 minute walk from school.

The Nursery is open from 7:30a.m. to 6:30p.m. Monday to Friday 50 weeks of the year (closed Christmas and New Year).
