As we are a Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School we receive a SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). Our latest inspection was carried out in June 2025 where we were living up to its foundations as a Church school and is enabling pupils and adults to flourish. We are very proud of our achievements and would like to celebrate this with highlighting the following key comments from the report.

• Under new leadership, the school community have agreed and implemented a Christian vision which is driving policy and practice. Leaders show a determined commitment to the continual development of the school’s Christian distinctiveness.
• Leaders actively create a culture of inclusion. This is rooted in leaders’ belief in equity for all which stems directly from the Christian vision. This nurturing environment enables pupils and adults, including those with additional needs, to develop a sense of belonging and belief.
• Daily collective worship is valued by pupils and adults as a me to come together as a school. It provides meaningful opportunities for reflection and praise, contributing to their spiritual development.
• Strong partnerships with the diocese and local churches provide valuable support, guidance and challenge. These strengthen the effectiveness of the school as a Church school, enabling pupils and adults to flourish.
• Religious education (RE) provides pupils with a creative and challenging curriculum. Pupils have a well-developed understanding of some of the beliefs and practices of a range of faiths and worldviews.
