Christmas Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we have had our first rehearsal in Church and it went very well \ud83d\ude0a we can\u2019t wait to show you on the 12th<\/sup> December.<\/p>\n

Costumes\u2026School will be providing the Infants with outfits for the performance, the Juniors will be Carol Singers so will need a jumper (Can be Christmas jumper) hat and scarf and School trousers\/skirt as normal. Thankyou!<\/p>\n

Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are having a whole school trip to The Grand theatre at Lancaster to watch Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime at 10am on Wednesday 13th<\/sup> December. The cost of the trip will be \u00a35, please pay via School Money.<\/p>\n

Junior TT Rockstars Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are taking part in an inter school TT Rockstars Lune Valley Schools competition next week. It starts on Monday 4th<\/sup> December and ends at 5pm on Friday 8th December. It counts the amount of correct answers per pupil in any of the games and whoever has the most, wins. The children can only take part between 8.45am and 4.30pm so they are not up all night! GOOD LUCK TEAM HORNBY!!<\/p>\n

Christmas Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday 15th we will be having a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, followed by a Christmas party afternoon. If you would like your child to have a Christmas lunch, please remind them to order a school dinner the day before.<\/p>\n

Christmas post box<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Christmas post boxes are out in Infants and Juniors, you can send a Christmas card to any child in school by posting in the post box and our daily postman will deliver to your friends.<\/p>\n

Mad Science \u2013 After School Club<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mad Science visited us on Tuesday for a Mad Science Assembly! We are now offering a Mad Science After School Club on a Tuesday from 9th January 2024. The deadline for registrations is Tuesday 5th<\/u> December<\/u>. You can register your children online at https:\/\/northengland.madscience.org<\/a> we need a minimum of 15 children to sign up for the ASC to go ahead.<\/p>\n

Music Concert<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have lots of musical talent here at Hornby and we would like to showcase this to you in our Music Concert next Friday 8th<\/sup> December at 2.45pm.<\/u><\/p>\n

We will have performances from our piano players, guitarists and Recorder Club.<\/p>\n
