Beginning of the School day\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a reminder that our doors are open from 8.50am with registration at 9am. Early Morning Club runs from 8.20am \u2013 8.50am and costs \u00a32 per child (\u00a31.50 siblings)<\/p>\n

If children are coming into School before 8.50am<\/u>, they will be charged for Early Morning Club.<\/p>\n

No dogs on School grounds<\/strong><\/p>\n

As lovely as your dogs are, please can we ask that you don\u2019t bring your dog onto the School grounds. \u2018No dogs on school grounds\u2019 policies are designed for the safety of children and to protect children with allergies. Plus, there\u2019s nothing worse than dog poo in the playground!<\/p>\n

Macmillan Coffee Morning<\/strong><\/p>\n

WE NEED CAKE DONATIONS PLEASE!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us as we take part in the World\u2019s biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29th<\/sup> September. <\/strong>This is Macmillan\u2019s largest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Please help us to raise money for this wonderful charity, who provide information & support to patients\u00a0& their families who are\u00a0affected by cancer.<\/p>\n

We will be serving tea, coffee and juice along with yummy cakes from 9.30am \u2013 11am \u2013 ALL WELCOME<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any parent help and cake donations for this event would be much appreciated \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

Library<\/strong><\/p>\n

Library sessions have restarted and will take place every Monday afternoon. Children may choose a book each week to take home to read and return it the following Monday to swap for a new one. Please help children to remember to bring in their library books each Monday. Any questions, please speak to your child’s teacher or Hannah in the office.<\/p>\n

Free snacks for Juniors<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Monday 25th<\/sup>\u00a0September, the PTA will be providing a free healthy snack to the Juniors on a trial basis. Infants receive a snack that is paid for centrally by Government, but the Juniors do not. The PTA would like to commit to providing this so that all children in school have access to a mid-morning healthy snack. However, we need your help. The cost annually of providing this is nearly \u00a31,300 so we need to plan how to fund this commitment. We therefore ask you to sign up to easyfundraising (see attached flyer). It doesn’t cost you anything – the brands where you shop donate to our cause. If every parent\/guardian signed up and used easyfundraising then we will soon raise enough money to continue the trial indefinitely. There are over 7,000 brands signed up to easyfundraising so whether you’re doing the weekly online grocery shop, some bits and bobs from Amazon, or even your summer holiday, there’ll be a brand waiting to donate to us. Thank you in advance for your support.<\/p>\n

Young Voices \u2013 Manchester Arena \u2013 5th<\/sup> February 2024\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

We are organising an exciting opportunity for the Year 5 and 6 Junior children to take part in the UK\u2019s biggest school\u2019s concert.\u00a0 It is on Monday 5th<\/sup> February 2024 at the Manchester AO Arena.\u00a0 Letters were sent home with your child yesterday, please return reply slip by Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harvest Appeal <\/strong><\/p>\n

As a school we would like to collect items to donate over the next few weeks in school. If you are able to donate then please choose an item from the list and send it into school. We will collate all donated items at our Harvest Service on Wednesday 4th<\/sup> October at 2.45pm (All are welcome)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
