Strike Days<\/strong><\/p>\n

The staff have informed me today that they will be taking strike action on the 15th<\/sup> March and 16th<\/sup> March and thus, school will be CLOSED<\/strong> for two days.<\/p>\n

I understand that this may cause a great deal of frustration and inconvenience for parents and carers; however, I am hopeful that you will understand the reasons for this decision to include the issue of pay as well as recruitment, retention of staff and more recent unfunded pay rises which have taken money away from our school budget and made it more difficult to provide for your children in both resourcing and staffing. May I take the opportunity to thank staff for the work that they continue to do in the face of increasing difficulties alongside other public sector workers and hope that a resolution in this dispute is reached soon. Parent Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Timesheets are still available in the entrance porch for you to choose a convenient time for your parents meeting on Tuesday 14th<\/sup> March, <\/u>where you will get the opportunity to see your child\u2019s work and meet with their teacher for an update on their progress. We will be starting the meetings in the afternoon from 2pm so as to try and fit everyone in. Any problems, please let Hannah in the office know.<\/p>\n

The PTA are organising a Mufti Day on Friday<\/strong> for Raffle donations for our Easter Hampers, please see attached poster.<\/p>\n

Hopefully you will be able to join us for an afternoon of rock hunting, egg rolling and cakes!!<\/p>\n

As always, any help with manning the cake stall, serving tea and coffee, overseeing egg-rolling activities and selling raffle tickets would be massively appreciated. This will be an eggcellent afternoon!<\/p>\n
