World Book Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have had a fabulous day looking at all the children\u2019s favourite books and costumes, it is lovely to see them enjoying reading. Reminder that Infant children collect ticks for reading each day at home and then get a reading sticker on a Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Netball Tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hornby children did us very proud on Wednesday when they won all 8 matches and took the winner\u2019s trophy at the Cluster Netball Tournament held at Carnforth High School. The winning team was Joey, Jessica, Megan, Zeus, Jack, Toby and Dexter -who also won player of the tournament!! \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0What a Team!!<\/p>\n

Parent Meetings<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Monday morning, there will be timesheets available in the entrance porch for you to choose a convenient time for your parents meeting on Tuesday 14th<\/sup> March, <\/u>where you will get the opportunity to see your child\u2019s work and meet with their teacher for an update on their progress. We will be starting the meetings in the afternoon from 2pm so as to try and fit everyone in. Any problems, please let Hannah in the office know.<\/p>\n

PTA Mufti Day <\/strong><\/p>\n

The PTA are organising a Mufti Day for Raffle donations for our Easter Hampers, please see attached poster.<\/p>\n

Easter Rock Hunt and Fair <\/strong><\/p>\n

Hopefully you will be able to join us for an afternoon of rock hunting, egg rolling and cakes!!<\/p>\n

As always, any help with manning the cake stall, serving tea and coffee, overseeing egg-rolling activities and selling raffle tickets would be massively appreciated. This will be an eggcellent afternoon!<\/p>\n

Creepy Crawlies<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a reminder to check for headlice, we have had a parent find some in their child\u2019s hair over half term, so we are asking parents to check and keep your child\u2019s hair tied up so as to prevent the spread.<\/p>\n

If you have any infant size PE kits, underwear or socks that you no longer require, we would be very grateful for them here in the Infants so we can use them as spares when we have accidents. Please hand any items into Hannah in the office or the Infant staff.<\/p>\n
