We have our first day visit of the school year next week.\u00a0 The junior pupils are all off for an adventure at Tower Wood.\u00a0 There is no charge for these trips, school covers the cost of both transport and instructors.\u00a0 Children should wear their own warm clothes, outdoor shoes or boots and will need a waterproof coat.\u00a0 Waterproof trousers would also be useful if they have them.\u00a0 Pupils will require a packed lunch on the day and will not be back in school until about <strong>5:30pm.\u00a0 <\/strong>An information sheet is included in the Friday bag today.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>QES Information for Year 6 pupils and parents.<\/strong>\u00a0 QES are aware that parents are asking about tours and there may be some confusions.\u00a0They have sent us this information by email.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>We are making a film but it is taking a little longer than anticipated and even when it is completed I\u2019m afraid anything we produce will be a pale imitation of what it is like to walk around the school and see our children and staff enjoying lessons and getting on with the vibrant business of the day.\u00a0 Usually we give over 150 tours and have two Open Evenings with over 400 parents in attendance each night, but clearly, we couldn\u2019t do these and I know that we feel we missed this opportunity to speak directly to parents and children.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So, whilst a film is in the background, we have updated our website here\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.queenelizabeth.cumbria.sch.uk\/mod\/page\/view.php?id=164488\">admissions2021<\/a>.\u00a0 In this section we have added our prospectus and I have tried to answer the questions most frequently asked when we do tours.\u00a0 There are also several ways a parent can communicate with us directly if they would like\u00a0\u2013 whether that\u2019s wanting a phone call or simply emailing a query or a Teams chat. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boxes of Hope<\/strong> \u2013 We are supporting the Boxes of Hope Charity again this year;
