Texted times do not apply if you are using Early Morning Cover or Hornby Day Nursery for after school care.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Covid Secure Measures &#8211; <\/strong>We will be following the latest Government guidance and have an up to date risk assessment in place. Juniors will be continue to be separated into upper and lowers for certain parts of the day, but will been seen as just one class, as will Infants.\u00a0 The Government has talked a lot about bubbles and we will try to keep Infants and Juniors separate, but school will operate as one bubble.\u00a0 Specific measures in place will be \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>social distancing<\/strong> please abide by the 1m + social distancing guidance, please avoid unnecessary waiting in the playground, arriving at your specific time to drop off and collect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>specific pick up and drop off times,<\/strong> Please be prompt at pick up and drop off to avoid congestion in the playground and carpark area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>classes using different doors to enter school,<\/strong> these have been sent via text<\/p>\n<p><strong>regular cleaning during the day,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>promote more regular hand cleaning and good respiratory hygiene \u2013 <\/strong>\u2018catch it, bin it, kill it\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>the juniors will be seated side by side facing the front.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Uniform<\/strong> \u2013 children should come to school in clean school uniform each day, if this is not possible then sensible alternatives will be acceptable. They will also need a PE kit in school.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lunches<\/strong> \u2013 we are returning to paid school meals, Infants will still receive the universal free school meal.\u00a0 The School Kitchen will be offering a packed lunch for the first three days and will return to the usual hot meals from Monday 7<sup>th<\/sup> September.\u00a0 Children will be able to order their lunch on the first day.\u00a0 If parents want to send in their own packed lunch, it needs to be in an easily cleaned container that can be wiped on the outside.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staffing<\/strong> \u2013 our usual staff will be returning to school following the summer break, we look forward to welcoming back Mrs Trotman, who will teacher on Thursdays this year.\u00a0 Mrs Cottam will be working Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Shaw Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reception Starters &#8211;<\/strong> we will be welcoming our reception children on Monday 7<sup>th<\/sup> September, when they will join us for the mornings.\u00a0 They will be invited to stay for lunch on Thursday and Friday of that week and will start full time the following Monday 14<sup>th<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Message from Hornby Day Nursery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dear Parents<\/p>\n<p>Hope you have all had a Pleasant Summer.<\/p>\n<p>From Wednesday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September wrap around care will commence again at nursery before and after school. We will be dropping off the children in our care at 9.00am and collecting them at 3.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>If you require a wrap around place, please give me a ring, or drop me an email and we can discuss your wrap around care requirements.<\/p>\n<p>For our existing families, your regular booking will commence from Wednesday when school reopens.
