It\u2019s been a busy week in school, with the visits to Tower Wood, junior netball competition and the whole school visit to Church.\u00a0 Peter joined our infant class this week, we hope he will be really happy here at Hornby.<\/em><\/p>\n

Home \u2013 School Agreement.\u00a0 <\/strong>Please send in any outstanding agreements in the bag on Monday.<\/p>\n

Boxes of Hope. <\/strong>The boxes will be collected next week, so if anyone wants to do a last minute box it just needs to be dropped off at school by Monday 11th<\/sup><\/em><\/strong> November<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Young Voices <\/strong>– Manchester Arena -31st<\/sup> January 2020<\/strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0 Please can we have all the slips back from junior parents regarding this concert, we need to start planning and must know who is going.\u00a0 A slip is included on the back of this newsletter.<\/p>\n

Junior Residential.\u00a0 <\/strong>Thank you to all the parents who have returned the slip and deposit for the Malham Trip in July.\u00a0 If you have not replied yet, please do so as soon as possible, so we can start to make the necessary arrangements.\u00a0 If the trip raises any concerns for you, please do come and talk to Mr Stafford-Roberts.<\/p>\n

Dinner Money.\u00a0 <\/strong>Bills are included in the Friday Bag for families who prefer to pay in cash.\u00a0 We appreciate online debts being kept to a minimum; you can always pre pay to avoid us sending you reminders.\u00a0 Dinners continue to cost \u00a32.30 per day, so \u00a311.50 per week.<\/p>\n

Christmas Cards.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Christmas Cards proofs designed by the children have arrived and are included in the Friday bag today, together with an order form.\u00a0 Each card will contain a printed greeting of \u201cMerry Christmas\u201d inside that does not appear on the proof.\u00a0 Please can all orders be returned to school by Monday 18th<\/sup> November<\/em><\/strong> at the very latest.\u00a0 The sale of these cards raises funds for the PTA that are used to benefit all pupils in school.<\/p>\n

PTA Mufti Day \u2013 Friday 15th<\/sup> Nov.\u00a0 <\/strong>Pupils are invited to wear their own clothes to school in return for a donation of a raffle prize.\u00a0 It could be a box of chocolates or biscuits, a bottle of something alcoholic or a Christmas pudding, which could go into one of the hampers.\u00a0 \u00a0Please leave your donation in the school entrance on the morning.<\/p>\n

Scholastic Book Club.<\/strong> Included in the Friday bag today is the latest book club leaflet, it\u2019s full of ideas for Christmas Presents!\u00a0 Ordering is now possible online at http:\/\/schools.scholastic.co.uk\/hornby-st-margarets-ce-primar<\/a>. There are hundreds of fantastic children\u2019s books to choose from, and\u00a0every \u00a31 you spend <\/strong>on this month\u2019s Book Club will\u00a0earn 25p for our school<\/strong>\u00a0in Scholastic Rewards.\u00a0 If you wish to order using the leaflet that is fine too, just return it to school by Monday 18th<\/sup> November<\/em><\/strong>, online orders should be placed by then as well.<\/p>\n
