Whole School Photo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We managed to sneak outside between the showers yesterday and have a whole school photo taken.\u00a0 A tiny pixels card is included in all Friday bags today giving details of the website to use to place your order.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Parents Help Morning \u2013 <\/strong>Sat 15th<\/sup> June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parent help would be greatly appreciated at school on Saturday 15th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong>, with some tidying and general maintenance jobs.\u00a0 We intend to start from 9:30am<\/em><\/strong> onwards and be finished by 12noon<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Well behaved, helpful children are always welcome to come along too!\u00a0 The plan is to sweep around the playground, do some general weeding and a bit of painting in the hall. If you have yard brooms, jet washers or hosepipes please bring them along.<\/p>\n

Juniors Big Sing- <\/strong>Monday 17th<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n

All junior pupils are going to Sedbergh Prep School, Casterton on Monday 17th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong> to join other local schools in the Big Sing.\u00a0 The event lasts all day, so all pupils will need a packed lunch.\u00a0 Parents are invited to come to listen to the performance at 2:15pm<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 An information sheet giving more details is included in the Friday bag today.\u00a0 Pupils will need to be in school for 8:45am<\/em><\/strong>, so we can set off promptly to pick up Leck pupils.<\/p>\n

Infant Forest School – <\/strong>Monday 17th<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n

Infant pupils will spend the day at Leck on Monday 17th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong> with Lecks infant children, continuing their Forest School activities. They will all need a packed lunch in a named carrier bag that they can carry themselves.\u00a0 An information sheet giving more details is included in the Friday bag today. Pupils will need to be in school for 8:45am<\/em><\/strong> as they are travelling with the juniors to Leck.<\/p>\n

Shakespeare Day \u2013 <\/strong>Tuesday 18th<\/sup> June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mrs Cottam has organised for a theatre group to come into school on Tuesday 18th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong> to deliver a Shakespeare Day for pupils in years 5 and 6; the morning workshop will be on Macbeth and the afternoon workshop on A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream. Three other local schools will be joining us for the day.\u00a0 Cooky will provide a picnic lunch for all our children on this day; if anyone who doesn\u2019t normally have lunches would like to join this, please just pop a note in the Friday bag, the charge will be \u00a32.30<\/p>\n

Years 5 & 6 Rugby \u2013<\/strong>Wednesday 20th<\/sup> June.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All children in years 5 & 6 are going to Kirkby Lonsdale Rugby Club on Wednesday 20th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 The event is fully organised by the Rugby Club and will be attended by other local schools as well.\u00a0 All children attending will need a packed lunch and to come to school dressed appropriately for a day playing rugby outside.\u00a0 A detailed information sheet is included in their bags today.<\/p>\n

Edinburgh Residential.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pupils in years 5 & 6 are getting excited about their residential visit to Edinburgh starting on Monday 1st<\/sup> July<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 A copy of your child\u2019s current medical form is included in the bag today for you to check.\u00a0 Please return it on Monday whether or not there are any amendments.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Garden Club <\/strong>will not<\/em><\/strong> run next Wednesday 19th<\/sup> June<\/em><\/strong>, it will be on Wednesday 26th<\/sup> June<\/strong>, but not <\/strong>on Wednesday 3rd<\/sup> July.\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please see attached sheet.\u00a0 The Summer Fair is next Friday 21st<\/sup> June 3:30-5:30pm<\/em><\/strong>, there will be no Praise Assembly that day to allow PTA to set up for the fair.<\/p>\n
