Macmillan Coffee Morning. <\/strong>\u00a0The PTA have hosted another fantastic Coffee Morning today in aid of such a worthy cause.\u00a0 There was a great turnout as usual, we will let you know how much was made next week.<\/p>\n

Forms, Forms.<\/strong>\u00a0 Thank you to everyone who has completed all the forms sent out a couple of weeks ago.\u00a0 A couple of families still need to send them back, please do so, as it is really important that we have up-to-date information on all the children in school.<\/p>\n

Infant Forest School Visit \u2013 Monday 1st<\/sup> October.\u00a0 <\/strong>All the infant children are off for their first Forest School Adventure of this year on Monday!\u00a0 They will visit the wooded area at Leck School and engage in activities with the Infant Children from Leck.\u00a0 A detailed information sheet is included in their Friday bag today.\u00a0 Please note that they all need a packed lunch with drink, all disposable items in a named carrier bag (No lunchboxes or water bottles).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Junior Cross Country \u2013 Monday 1st<\/sup> October.\u00a0 <\/strong>A group of junior children are going to Tatham Fells School on Monday afternoon to take part in a cross country race with pupils from other Lune Valley Schools.\u00a0 An information sheet is included in the Friday bag for the children involved.<\/p>\n

Reception Parents Meeting.\u00a0 <\/strong>Mrs Hamlett is looking forward to meeting the new reception children\u2019s parents on Tuesday 2nd<\/sup> October at 4:30pm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Reception Children.\u00a0 <\/strong>Please can everyone in reception bring an empty yoghurt pot for Thursday next week.<\/p>\n

Parent Meetings \u2013 Tuesday 9th<\/sup> October.<\/strong>\u00a0 Teaching staff will be in school from 3:30 to <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

7:30pm on Tuesday 9th<\/sup> October, <\/em><\/strong>during this time there will be an opportunity for you to come and look at your children\u2019s work and talk informally with teachers\u00a0 Should you require a 5 minute 1:1 appointment please indicate on the slip at the end of the newsletter your preferred time slot.<\/p>\n

Year 5 & 6 Residential.<\/strong>\u00a0 Thank you to all the parents who have returned the slip regarding the Edinburgh residential.\u00a0 If you have not replied yet, please do so as soon as possible, so we can start to make the necessary arrangements.\u00a0 If the trip raises any issues for you, please do come and talk to Mr Stafford-Roberts.<\/p>\n

School Photographs.\u00a0 <\/strong>All the children had their photographs taken last Friday; the proofs are included in the bag this week.\u00a0 Orders can be placed online by visiting www.picturemailorder.co.uk<\/a>\u00a0 and using the username and password on your proof.\u00a0 You can order through school if this suits you better, but you will need to pay cash<\/em><\/strong> with the order not cheques.\u00a0 All orders either placed online or through school need to be received by Friday 12th<\/sup> October<\/em><\/strong> at the latest.<\/p>\n
