Arnside Residential Visit \u2013 Monday 2nd<\/sup> to Wednesday 4th<\/sup> July <\/strong><\/p>\n

The junior children are getting excited about their residential visit to Arnside starting on Monday 2nd<\/sup> July<\/strong>.\u00a0 A copy of your child\u2019s current medical form is included in the bag today for you to check.\u00a0 Please return it on Monday whether or not there are any amendments.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Infant Visit to Leighton Moss<\/strong><\/p>\n

The infant children will be meeting up with the junior children at Leighton Moss Nature Reserve on Tuesday 3rd<\/sup> July<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 The trip will be for the whole school day, so all infants will require a packed lunch on the day, a detailed information sheet will be in the Friday bag next week. Please complete the slip at the end of the newsletter giving permission for your child to attend this trip.\u00a0 We are just asking for a contribution of \u00a310 per pupil towards the cost of the bus, school will cover the entrance fee of \u00a36.50 plus the remaining bus cost.<\/p>\n

School Uniform<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are continuing to use The Uniform and Leisurewear Company at 15 Common Garden Street, Lancaster, LA1 1XD for the supply of all our badged uniform.\u00a0 The shop is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. A copy of their price list is included in all Friday bags today. \u00a0We do still have 4 age 9\/10 red polo shirts, one 3\/4 sweatshirt and a 3\/4 school coat for sale at school; if anyone is interested in these, please see Mrs Sharpe, they will be cheaper than in the shop!<\/p>\n

Year 5 & 6 PSHE<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a letter from Mrs Shaw in all year 5 & 6 pupils Friday bag today regarding some PSHE sessions she will be running, please do take a few minutes to read it.<\/p>\n

Secondary School Visits <\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents of year 6 pupils are responsible for getting their children to and from their Induction Days next week.\u00a0 The pupils attending the QES day on Tuesday should come back to school in the afternoon.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

Year 6 Leavers Do \u2013 Tuesday 10th<\/sup> July<\/strong><\/p>\n

Huge thanks for all your support with the Summer Fair, both in the lead up to it and on the day itself. We raised approximately \u00a3480<\/em><\/strong> which is amazing for such a small school.<\/p>\n

We are holding a meeting this coming Monday, 25th<\/sup> June, at 3pm<\/em><\/strong> in school, to discuss the Family Bingo Night, all welcome. To help us plan for this event we would appreciate it if you could return the slip at the end of the newsletter to let us know if you are planning to attend this event.<\/p>\n
