Please do come along for <strong><em>12noon tomorrow<\/em><\/strong> and invite all your family and friends!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Snow Dragon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The whole school will be going on The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal on <strong><em>Tuesday 5<sup>th<\/sup> December <\/em><\/strong>to see a performance of The Snow Dragon.\u00a0 Cookie will prepare an early lunch, so we can leave school at about 12:30 and we should be back for 3:30pm, an information sheet is included in all Friday bags today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Infant Art Club.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Miss Allen <strong><em>can\u2019t<\/em><\/strong> run Art Club on <strong><em>Wednesday 6<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/em><\/strong>, but will run a design technology based one on <strong><em>Wednesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/em><\/strong>, which will be the last this half term.\u00a0 The club will start again in January for juniors, date in first newsletter next year!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rewind to Christmas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The year 5 pupils have been invited to Ingleton Methodist Church on <strong><em>Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/em><\/strong> to join in some Christmas Celebrations and activities along with children from other local schools.\u00a0\u00a0 An information sheet is included in their bags today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sewing Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/em><\/strong> will be the last sewing club session for years 5 &amp; 6.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carol Service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We look forward to seeing everyone in Church for the carol service on <strong><em>Wednesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> December at 6pm<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Several of the junior children will be reading, so we need to know if anyone is unable to attend for any reason.\u00a0 Parent, Grandparents and all friends of school are invited to join us.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christmas Activity Day<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cookie will be preparing a party lunch on <strong><em>Tuesday 19<sup>th<\/sup> December<\/em><\/strong>, which all pupils can join.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If you child doesn\u2019t usually have lunch on a Tuesday but would like to have this special lunch, please pop a note in the bag on Monday together with \u00a32.20 to cover the cost.\u00a0 The afternoon will then be devoted to Christmas Activities.\u00a0 Children can come to school in their Christmas Jumper if they wish (don\u2019t buy one specially, clothes in Christmas Colours would be fine)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Dec \u2013 School Christmas Fair 12noon \u2013 2pm<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 5<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 The Snow Dragon at Brewery Art Centre, Kendal<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 6<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 No Infant Art Club<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 Year 5 Rewind to Christmas<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 7<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 Last Sewing Club Session<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 12<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 Christmas Performances 9:30am and 6:30pm<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 Carol Service at St Margaret\u2019s Church at 6pm<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday 19<sup>th<\/sup> Dec \u2013 Christmas Activity Day<\/li>\n<li>Thursday 21<sup>st<\/sup> Dec \u2013 End of Term<\/li>\n<li>Monday 8<sup>th<\/sup> Jan \u2013 School reopens for Spring Term<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 10<sup>th<\/sup> Jan \u2013 Swimming restarts for year 3, 4 &amp; 5<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday 17<sup>th<\/sup> Jan \u2013 Junior After School Golf Club starts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PTA Christmas Fair Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated items for the Christmas Fair and bought raffle tickets in advance, it should be a really good event.
