Wraparound Provision
Our early morning club runs from 8.20pm every school day The club aims to provide pupils with a range of creative and child initiated activities. Charges for this provision are £2 per session and £1.50 for each further sibling.
Places can be booked in advance or turn up on an ad-hoc basis when needed!
Hornby Day Nursery are able to offer a superb year round Primary Education and Care Service to meet the needs of local parents and their children.
The previous village school building dating back to 1873 has been fully restored to provide modern purpose-made facilities, which are safe and secure whilst retaining its traditional friendly atmosphere. Dedicated areas cater for all ages from 3 months to 11 years including an Out of School and Holiday Club.
The Pre-School offers Nursery Education Grants and delivers the Foundation Stage Curriculum from age 3 which provides a smooth transition for the children as they move into the school’s infant class.
The Out of School Club provides a pick up and collection service before and after school. (The Nursery is only a 10 minute walk from school).
The Nursery is open from 7.30a.m. to 6.30p.m. Monday to Friday 50 weeks of the year (closed Christmas and New Year).
